A study in Health Education & Behavior found that whatever food was the most visible in your kitchen was the most likely food you would grab for a quick snack. We all know that trying to make a wise decision when your hungry is usually not the best idea. Why then do we fail? Because we fail to plan! The study showed that 39% of the men in study that were obese had baked goods and breads in plain view. While study participants who were of normal weight testified that their kitchens contained no baked goods in plain view and instead had bowls of fruit.
